Erasmus Mundus is focused on enhancing the quality of higher education and on promoting intercultural understanding. It aims to encourage the quality of European higher education, to contribute to expansion and improvement of career prospects of students and to promote intercultural understanding through cooperation with non-European countries in line with the objectives of EU external policy, and so to contribute to the sustainable development of higher education in these countries.
