AnnotationWith this initiative, several Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Israel, Palestine and Jordan will be able to benefit from: - Establishment of equipped International Relations Offices (IROs) within their institutions that will become internal specialist units in the area of international relations, internationalization processes, EHEA, Bologna Process, ECTS, Diploma supplement, Learning Agreements, preparation of bilateral agreements, management of EU funded projects; they will be able to monitor the quality of services by implementing quality assurance mechanisms - Training of (future) experts within each institution in Bologna process, ECTS, EHEA, quality assurance, networking and management of EU funded projects. There are plans to create a future national association of Bologna Process experts. - Production of manuals and handbooks (in English and local languages) in the following areas: 1. best practices in the development and management of university international relation offices, 2. implementation of ECTS, Diploma Supplement, Learning Agreements and other common practices in the EHEA 3. internationalization at home: policy and strategies 4. quality assurance mechanisms for internationalization at home and the services provided by IROs 5. best practices regarding project management of EU funded projects -Pilot project on the implementation of ECTS in one or more units at each home institution - Dissemination of the initiative results through European and international channels (like the EAIE).
