Příspěvek se zabývá empirickým ověřením platnosti teorie optimální kapitálové struktury firmy na reprezentativním vzorku podniků z oblasti kovodělného průmyslu v ČR. K ověření byla využita metodika popsaná B. Ginertem a C. Revertem ve stati Valuation Implications of Capital Structure: a Contextual Approach. K vlastní verifikaci byly využity Pearsonův chí kvadrát test a Fisherův přesný oboustranný test. Oba použité testy indikují zcela shodné výsledky.
The paper deals with empirical verification of the validity of optimal capital structure theory of the enterprise on characteristic sample of enterprises from iron machining industry in the Czech Republic. The methodology described by B. Ginert and C. Revert in article Valuation Implications of Capital Structure: a Contextual Approach has been used for verification. Pearson chi quadrant test and Fisher both-sided exact test have been used for the verification itself. Both tests denote the same results.
