Eclipsing binaries play very important role in astronomical studies. They can be perceived as unique astrophysical laboratories to test our knowledge of wide range of physical and astrophysical phenomena such as stellar evolution, processes in stellar interior and theory of relativity. Moreover, they indicate distance scale in the Universe. The study of eclipses and computing of the models could help us to comprehend different phenomena and physical properties of stellar matter. Today, the same way we are able to study not only the stellar pairs but also systems star-planet(s).
The main scientific aim of this project is do photometric study of selected eclipsing binaries interesting from several points of view (with eccentric orbits, chemical peculiar components, gas stream between components, low mass binaries...) and stars with exoplanets.
