| Description | The neovolcanic dyke on the Pohoř hill presents the southeasternmost volcanic occurrence of such rocks in the Bohemian Massif. To revise the location and shape of the volcanic body we have done a ground magnetic survey. During the geophysical survey several boulders of neovolcanite have been sampled. According to new petrographical and geochemical analyses we have classified the rock from Pohoř as an olivine melilitite. |
