| Description | In the work I have summarized the knowledge about the geology of the Moravian-Silesian Devonian period and about the deposits of the trilobites in the Stínava-Chabíčov formation, especially in Stínav‘sstrata in the locality of Horní Benešov. From the collection of the ÚGV. I have determined the only one dominant species - Leonaspis (Kettneraspis) pigra according to the assigned literature and the catalogue. The species had not been found compact up to the present time, just in the fragments, 12 pieces of pygidium, 10 pieces of free cheeks and cheeksand 6 pieces of isolated segment of the thorax. All the mentioned discoveries come from the layer of dark pelitic slate. |
