Description Results of this study proved a marginal effect of low (0.1 and 10 ug/l) and considerable impact of higher treatment (100 ug/l) of diclophenac to growth (plant number, dry weight and leaf area size) of duckweed (Lemna minor). Increasing environmental loading led to a significant decrease in content of chlorophyll a, b and carotenoids in these plants. Similarly a considerable decrease in values of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters FV/FM and PhiII at 100 ug/l, Rfd at 0.1 ug/l and an increase in NPQ values at 10 ug/l of diclophenac point at biochemical and physiological changes at the cell and subcellular level.
