Description This paper focuses on the theme of teaching of psychology, as a part of the common basis in preparation of prospective teachers in the departments of psychology faculties of education. The paper presents a new concept of seminars focused on psychological preparation of students. An important part of the seminars is development the foundations of meta-cognitive competencies of students, as the ability to reflect oneself as an individual in the role of teacher. An important part of student participation in seminars is to use the tools of psychological testing, the results of which can be another source of student self-reflection.
