| Description | Strategical development planning of municipalities and cities became a standard practice and often a compulsory base to verify the level of conceptual integration of various activities before applying for subsidies. Presented text reflects the process of creation and overall results of Development Programme of Pohořelice city on which the author has contributed. This paper is methodologically based on current informational grounds linked with the production of developmental documents in the Czech environment and also on the theoretical field of socio-critical geographies. Consequently, there follows the discussion of this particular document and its specific issues. Proposed city development programme meets the needs of current approaches and retains the potential to become an important and also unifying element of city development. However according to the evaluation of motivation, participation and also the level of knowledge of interested actors, there is a risk that the potential of document will not be realized. |
