Description Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are used as the suitable tool for molecular-biological experiments for the long time.In addition, with the rapid development of nanotechnologies, AuNPS are used as the importatnt carriers of biomolecules in nanomedicine and biosensing, including applications in experimental cardiology. It is known that horse radish peroxidase reaction, proceeding in many biochemical processes, is used in biotechnology. Based on the fact that some groups of chemical compouds or nanomaterials show the enzymatic (also peroxidase) activity, they are very interesting for scientists. The aim of our contribution was a) to synthesize the gold nanoparticles modified with trisodium citrate in the dependence on temperature and b) to study the peroxidase activity from the point of view of its effect on the cell line H9C2.
