| Description | The exhibition presents endangered archaeological monuments – prehistoric and early medieval fortifications and barrow cemeteries, deserted medieval villages, castles, fortified houses and small fortifications, mines and roads, as well as their retrieval and documentation. The appearance of individual sites acquired by non-destructive or non-intrusive survey will help to reconstruct the past and keep the information on present condition of the monuments. The exhibition naturally includes finds obtained during archaeological excavations in the Vysočina region. Settlement relics in a historical landscape are closely connected with natural environment. Studying this environment helps to reconstruct the evolution of landscape. |
