| Description | Historical-cartographic research should be supported by studies of possible most original cartographic documents with accent on author’s authenticity. On the other hand most of these haven’t survived to present days, alternatively in limited quantity and accessible with difficulty. Detailed research of the original copies of the Fabricius’ map of Moravia allowed to verify, update and complete current knowledge about their existence and offered new stimuli for future study. For now unappreciated source of information are composite atlases, which often hide gems between old maps. |
