| Description | Profile of amino acid (AA) and related compounds can be monitored in targeted metabolomics analyses. These compounds have various function in living organisms. Their levels fluctuate on the basis of genetic, biochemical, physiological state of the cell and also under the effect the environment. The subject of this contribution is application of capillary electrophoresis coupled with mass spectrometry detection to the separation and subsequent AA quantitation in various biological matrices as a spent culture medium used in assisted reproduction, and human plasma and urine of gestational diabetes patients. |
