| Description | Computer Program for Support and Facilitation of Dermatoglyphic Analyses. The program Dermatoglyphix has been developed to enhance computer-aided manual / semi-automatic dermatoglyphic analysis of human fingerprints and palm prints within traditional dermatoglyphic procedures. The program allows loading images in standard formats (JPG, TIF, PNG), automatic and manual size calibration and necessary image manipulations. Dermatoglyphic procedures incorporated in the program include both qualitative (assessment of pattern types) and quantitative (ridge counting, main lines terminations, atd-angle, measurement of ridge breadth) methods. Storage format is XML and results can also be exported in CSV format for external statistical analyses. |
