Description Aim: The aim of this study was to observe wether the methods of behavioral intervention could influence the risk behaviour of mothers in dental caries prevention in children. Matherial and methods: 39 mothers of children in the age of one year filled the questionnaire with ten negative and positive stimuls. The emotional attack was measured by Self-Assessement Manikin scale (SAM), which represents three emotional dimensions: valence, arousal and dominance. Results: The results of this pilot study show that stimuls about the risks of dental caries influence emotions in mothers. Mothers indicie that in these stimuls feel high dominance (median 7, [quartile 25%-75%, 5-9]). Moreover between negatives and positives stimuls were significant correlation (P<0,01) Conclusion: The text with picture cause higher emotional impal than only informatik. The combination with text and positive or negative picture could be a tool for primary prevention of dental caries in children.
