| Description | We introduce an updated text for the course "How Science Works" designed for all science teacher education students. In the book we try to present the development of views on science, summarize the framework of scientific methods and show the connections to everyday life. We deal with the differences between the scientific approach to investigating a problem and the approach of other cognitive methods. We also pay attention to the current thinking around science and its social role. |
