Description A lense shaped body within plagioclase-biotite-orthogneisses is composed mainly of biotite andFe-Mn-garnet with prograde zonation. In a little lesser amount Zn-rich staurolite and Fe-gahnite are present. Among accessories (labradorite, muscovite, amphibole, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, pyrite, rutile, ilmenite, titanite) pyrrhotite is the prevailing component. The retrograde recrystallization, according to the chlorite thermometer, passed at about 350oC and under the pressure 0,35-0,39GPa (sphalerite barometry). The mineral composition, chemistry of the rock-forming minerals and isotopic data of the sulphur (7,8-11,8 delta 34S) indicate the protholite of volcano-sedimentary origin and precipitation of the mineral association in an abiogenic reduction area.
