Description One fragmentary vertebra of a large Tertiary constrictor (Serpentes: Boidae) is described originating most probably from the Upper Ottnangian deposits. It concerns a unique finding in the area of the Czech Republic. The presence of this boid snake in Moravia supports the opinion that the large members of Boidae survived in the Central European area at least until the Lower Miocene.
