| Description | The map of Biogeographical division of the Czech Republic was elaborated for the use in proposals of territorial systems of Ladscape ecological stability (ecological networks) and evaluation of their functionality (see the act 114/92 Sb. about the nature and landscape protection). The map is very detailed according to its scale, it considers Biogeographical regions and typological unites - biochoras. In the map altitudinal vegetation zones are most visible. Territories of pronounced continental climate are also incorporated. |
