Description Several investigations of aquatic fauna of some localities in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mountains have been carried out recently. Interesting faunistic records of caddisflies which originated from these collections are presented. Wormaldia copiosa (McLachlan, 1868) is recorded from Moravia for the first time. Chaetopteryx fusca Brauer, 1857 is recorded from the Czech Republic for the second time. Ernodes vicinus (McLachlan, 1879), Wormaldia copiosa (McLachlan, 1868), endangered in the Czech Republic, and Rhyacophila mocsaryi Klapálek, 1898, Rhyacophila philopotamoides McLachlan, 1879, Chaetopteryx polonica Dziedzielewicz, 1889, vulnerable in the Czech Republic, are recorded. An occurrence of Plectrocnemia brevis McLaclan, 1871 and Ernodes articularis (Pictet, 1834) from Moravia has been published only sporadically. However presented data indicate that these overlooked species are more frequent on suitable krenal and hypokrenal localities throughout the Czech Republic than have been assumed so far.
