Description Moravian red-algal limestones (biodetrital grainstones, coralline branch rudstones-floatstones and rhodolith rudstones) originated in a warm-temperate to subtropical climate. They are connected with the prograding coast line at the west and nordwest margin of the Carpatian Foredeep. At the eastern margin, important rle of the redeposition of the RAL into more internal parts of the basin is supposed.
