Description For the orthogonal reheating mode, double pulse LIBS experimental setup with ICCD and PMT was designed. The double pulse LIBS plasma is created with a system of two Q switched Nd:YAG lasers. The two lasers (UP-266 MACRO, New Wave and Quantel Brilliant) are operated at the fourth harmonic frequency (266 nm) and at the fundamental wavelength of 1064 nm, respectively. The laser induced plasma radiation is transported by a fiber optic system onto the entrance slit of a monochromator (Jobin Yvon TRIAX 320). ICCD detector (Jobin Yvon Horiba) or a photomultiplier (Hamamatsu) gated by a laboratory built control unit are employed as detectors. For the gate time delay monitoring and time resolved signal recording, a digital storage oscilloscope Tektronix TDS 1012 is utilized.
