| Description | The map shows the world in Gall-Peters projection. Front shows political map (1:35 000 000). Unique is portrayal of controversial territories as are Transnistria or South Sudan. There are also real coastlines of dying out lakes Aral and Chad, which were taken from satellite images. Reverse shows four maps (1:165 000 000): Cultural landscape and primal forest, Economical performance, Hunger and food aid and CO2 emissions. All data comes from public sources (UNESCO ...). There is also comparison of the World in various projections with explanation of their history and usefulness. |
