| Description | The co-occurrence of the conodonts and foraminifers in the Líšeň Fm. is world-wide unique. The appearance of the basal Tournaisian conodont index taxa Siphonodella sulcata is reported from the Famennian zone preasulcata from the Lesni lom quarry. On the other hand, Famennian quasiendothyrid foraminifers were found in the Tournaisian zone duplicata. The rich conodont assemblage of the Famennian/Tournaisian boundary are reported from the Krtiny quarry. |
