| Description | This publication is mainly based on the results of the ME 10098 FLOODRISK project, which was approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports within the KONTAKT project framework and the Czech-Chinese Co-operation in Research and Development. Individual chapters follow the presentations performed within two specialized workshops and an international seminar. The first workshop took place in Beijing Normal University on 12 October 2010, the second one in Brno, Masaryk University, Department of Geography, Laboratory on Geoinformatics and Cartography on 17 June 2011. The international Seminar on Sharing Experience on Disaster Risk Reduction in Asian Countries was held in Beijing, 13-15 October 2010. The project aimed to support interdisciplinary scientific and technical cooperation and expert communication in the field of flood control, monitoring, geoinformation and remote sensing. |
