| Description | In this paper we would like to mention several Eurasian beaver (Castor fiber L.) remains, which were recently excavated in the region of central Dyje River. The object no. 0396 in the Germanic settlement at locality Pasohálvky (U Vodárny) has provided large archaeological and zooarchaeological collection. Moreover, several bone fragments and teeth of an adult beaver were deposited in this object. Finally, in two mediaval objects no. 008 and 010 in Dolní Dunajovice were excavated two fragments of mandible and teeth, which belonged to juvenile beaver. |
