Variety is the Password
The 2-day seminar for teachers and doctor students will focus on approaches to teaching based on principles from andragogy, Bloom’s taxonomy of learning, and Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences. It will be run as an interactive workshop with the use of handouts, games and PPT slides, in order to allow participants to experience the implementation of theory through class activities, even by using loop input tasks. Depending on the time available, these will then be developed into practical activities to be used in teaching English and/or other subjects.
