The aim of doctoral field of study Computer Systems and Technologies is to provide to next experts methodological and practical knowledge corresponding with theoretical foundations in computer science and information technologies, as well as basic skills in organizational and managerial work. The acquired knowledge and skills, corresponding with the most recent trends in development of computer science and technologies and also managerial practices, enable graduates to work independently, in particular in the areas of applied research in computer science, its organization and management. Emphasis is placed on development of skills of individual analysis and development work, including the acquisition of the relevant publication, presentation, development and organizational skills.
Field of study is focused on application-oriented informatics research primarily outside academic sphere and extent of specific skills, especially project-oriented and teamwork.
