Tato studie se zabývá vztahem politiky a armády na území dnešní České republiky v letech 1918 až 1992. Integrace armády do společnosti prodělala dvě významné změny, v letech 1945 1950 byl demokratický režim změněn v totalitní a v letech 1989 1992 totalitní režim byl nahrazen demokratickým.

This study deals with the relationship between the military and politics in the territory of what is today Czech republic, in the period from 1918 to 1992. The integration of the armed forces into the political system underwent two important changes during that period: in from 1945 to 1950 the democratic regime of the First Republic was replaced by a totalitarian regime and in from 1989 to 1992 the totalitarian regime was changed back into a democratic one.
