Anotace The aim of the conference is to present and discuss some recent concerns with the concept of identity in a broad variety of contexts (nationality, religion, ethnicity, gender, generation, class, etc.), and to test the concept's analytical power and weaknesses. We believe that the wide contextual range and prospective critical approaches will contribute to this latter goal.
