Field of studySocial Policy and Social Work

Doctoral study programme of social policy and social work is designed for experts who work on the analysis, research and conception of strategies of social policy, social security and social work or are implementing these at central, regional and local levels, and also for teachers in this field.It is supposed that the applicants are graduates of Master’s study programmes in social policy or social work, or in related fields of study at other faculties. Doctoral study is thus conceived also as an opportunity for systematic study of social policy and social work by those workers in the sector of social policy, social services and social work who graduated in related disciplines, have experience with activities in this sector, as well as aptitudes for research and conception work, but who have not had the possibility to acquire specialized training for their highly specialized professional work.
