The study field European Studies (taught in Czech) focuses on political aspects of European integration process, and thus also on further issues connected with the working of European Union and its role in the area of international relations. The study field provides its students with detailed knowledge of the political development of EU, and of institutional structure and decision making mechanism within it. It deals with political systems of member countries, relations of selected countries towards EU, the process of enlargement and the overview of joint policies of EC/EU.
