| About author: | Czech painter, graphic designer, illustrator and scenographer, née Eduard Müller (1981 – 1976). Graduated from the Prague Academy of Fine Arts (class of professor M. Švabinský), acted as an art editor in Lidové noviny newspaper and as a professor in Zlín and Brno. Focused primarily at paintwork, utility and free graphic art and illustration. The focal point of his artistic activity is formed by watercolour, pen-and-ink drawing and graphic art. The city of Brno, especially its quiet corners and metropolitan hustle, represented a common subject matter of his art work. Since 1942 Milén regularly exhibited with the Group of visual artists in Brno. His art works are represented e.g. in the National Gallery in Prague and in the Moravian Gallery in Brno. |
