Late divergence of target and nontarget ERPs in a visual oddball task

Aiming at mental operations during visual oddball task with mental counting we searched for late divergences of target and nontarget event-related potentials. The results suggest that in several brain regions functional differences exist even not sooner than during the final phase of the two variants of the cognitive task.
