The expected output of the project was an overview analysis of the state of information systems and portals in the Czech Republic in the area of research and development. The analysis should have included the evaluation of usability, timeliness and accessibility of the systems, as well as the characteristics of both their users and providers. To compile the analysis, the project was to evaluate the influence of technical, personal, structural, organizational, financial and legislative factors on the development of R&D information systems at the national level, and to point out the strengths and weaknesses. A part of the project also was the recommendation of principle directions for further development of information infrastructure in the CR.
