Library Automation
The Library Automation Group at MU-ICS provides Masaryk University with the following services:
- co-ordination of the development of automated library-information services and verification of modern technologies for applicability in MU library practice
- running the MU Library-Information Centre
- design and maintenance of central information systems, namely:
- specialized consultancy, training and other basic support in the
following areas:
- installation of computer equipment in libraries
- automation of library processes
- cataloguing rules, library standards and recommendations
- using the ALEPH library system
- exchange and conversion of bibligraphic data records
- preparation and realization of library projects
