Epidemiologická situace v oblasti kolorektálního karcinomu se ani v současní době nezlepšuje. V době stanovení diagnozy je již 20% pacientů ve stadiu IV - diseminovaný kolorektální karcinom. Publikace se věnuje multidisciplinárnímu přístupu k těmto pacientům za účelem racionální strategie léčby z pohledu onkologa, onkochirurga a radiologa.

Epidemiological situation in colorectal carcinoma is not improving nowadays. Twenty percent of pacients are already stadium IV - disseminated colorectal carcinoma - at the time of diagnosis. The book deals with the multidisciplinar approach to these patients in order to guarantee rational therapeutic strategy from the view of the oncologist, surgical oncologist and radiologist.
