Příspěvek seznamuje s teoretickými východisky současné rodiny, analyzuje její proměnu v posledních letech, charakterizuje její funkce a vliv na rozvoj dítěte. Vyvozuje metodická doporučení pro implementaci požadavků Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro předškolní vzdělávání na spolupráci s rodinou. Závěr příspěvku je věnován specifikům spolupráce rodiny a mateřské školy a její efektivní podobě.

The contribution informs about theoretical base of the present family, it analyses changes in the last years and characterizes the functions and influence to the child's development. The suggestions of the implementation of the Frame Educational Program for co-operation with family are deduced. In the conclusion the specifics of co-operation family and kindergarten and its specific similarities is described.
