Annotation

Study of personality development in ethnic and social contexts uses methodology to explore the influences of social conditions on mental and physical development of children and adolescents, on family and cohabitation of minorities and ethnic groups.Study of developmental characteristics of children and youth will shed light on the developmental potential of personality, role of family and school in the process of socialisation and point out risk and protective factors of personality development.Study of the factors of misunderstanding between minorities and majority population and of the conditions of tolerance, mutual respect and understanding aims to contribute to optimisation of personality development and cohabitation ethnic groups in CR.Studies carried out by the Centre lead to a proposal of a policy of preventing negative phenomena influencing the disharmonic development of children and adolescents in interethnic communication.
