| Popis | The concept of function appears in Translation Studies at the beginning of it as an independent discipline. However, the concept of "function" in translation is not unanimous. This paper provides for the purpose of examining the evolution of the concept of "function" through contemporary translatological theories (skopos theory, polysystem theory). The paper present also their epistemological bases partly common. |
