This text aims to introduce students to the basics of theory of systems and principles of its utilisation in the management of a company. The introductory part looks at the basic concepts and methodological use of theory of systems for the complex representation of a firm as a whole, consisting of interdependent material, human and information processes. The second part results in principles of architecture used in company management information systems.
