| Popis | The publication marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of the University of the Third Age at Masaryk University. The first part of the publication includes useful information regarding universities of the third age throughout Europe as well as a brief overview of their emergence while the remainder provides a detailed description of the organization of various events and the course of educational activities at the University of the Third Age at Masaryk University. The text likewise offers insight into the teaching methods and techniques employed as well as information regarding course content and thematic structure, utilization of information technology, etc. An entire section of the publication contains photographs illustrating the historical events and significant documents associated with the University of the Third Age from its founding in 1990 to 2010. The enclosed DVD contains footage from e.g. course completion ceremonies, exhibition openings featuring senior citizens work and a range of other events. |
