V souladu se stále větší podporou rozvoje znalostní ekonomiky se neustále zvyšuje množství studentů a především pak absolventů vysokých škol, a to zejména v humanitních oborech, což má vliv i na jejich uplatnitelnost na trhu práce. Nejen z toho důvodu je tato skupina uchazečů považována za rizikovou bez ohledu na regionální rozdílnosti a momentální situaci na trhu práce. Dlouhodobá nezaměstnanost těchto osob je navíc nebezpečná i v tom, že včas nedojde k vytvoření pracovních návyků, což má dopad nejen v oblasti ekonomické, ale i sociální. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je analyzovat nezaměstnanost absolventů vysokých škol se zaměřením na absolventy vybraných ekonomických fakult v Jihomoravském kraji a také zjistit, zda existuje nějaký vztah mezi vývojem nezaměstnanosti této skupiny, celkovou nezaměstnaností a ekonomickým vývojem. Na základě zjištěných poznatků jsou identifikovány příčiny současného stavu a formulovány návrhy a doporučení pro budoucí vývoj této problematiky.
In accordance with the growing support of the development of the knowledge economy the number of students, especially university graduates, is increasing, mainly in the humanities, and this fact also affects their employability. This group of applicants is therefore, but not only because of this reason, considered as risk, regardless of regional differences and the current situation on the labour market. Long-term unemployment of these people is also dangerous in the fact that there is no time to develop their work habits and it has not only economic but also social impact. The aim of this paper is to analyze the unemployment of university graduates focusing on the graduates of the selected economics faculties in the South Moravian Region and also to find out whether there is any relationship between the evolution of unemployment of this group, the overall unemployment and economic development. Proposals and recommendations for possible solutions to the current state and future development of this issue are formulated based on the findings.
