Annotation

No work has been ever written about occurence of Lower Carbonian trilobites from Březina shales came from Mokrá quarry near Brno. The main goal of the project is the systematic study of newly found trilobite assemblage in shales of Březina formation, its stratigraphical relation according to conodont and foraminifer fauna from profiles in a Mokrá quarry all taxa as well. Results of terrain investigations will consequently help to establish biostratigraphy of occurence of trilobite taxa in newly studied profiles in Mokrá quarry. The results of a suggested grant project are to interpret the biostratigraphical importance of the trilobite taxa from Lower Carbonian from Mokrá quarry and to compare different exoskeletons thoroughly in order to interpret their feeding habits. The diagram showing different taxa occurence according to the occurence of foraminifers and conodontsand exoskeletons study is suppossed to be the result as well.
