| Popis | "I asked the library staff to provide me with copies of newspapers from the early nineties. I read Smena, which later became one of the two prominent newspapers in Slovakia. As I started going through the material, it was not the content that caught my attention but rather the tone of the commentaries, short news or longer reportages. It seemed that journalists were trying to find the right voice in which they would address the readers. Obviously, this was not an easy task. It was still the same audience though, but this audience was not to be addressed in the same manner as before." |
