Popis The exhibition deals with original color and black and white photographs made by Lumír Jisl, an outstanding Czechoslovak archaeologist and expert in Oriental art and material culture. He was engaged in the study of Buddhist art in China, Tibet and mainly in Mongolia, where he led a successful archaeological expedition exploring prince Kultegin (685-732) memorial in 1958. The exhibition shows 108 Lumir Jisl large pictures taken during his three Mongolian journeys in 1957 to 1963. There is a detailed description and analysis of his visual and textual materials and sources in catalogue published prior the exhibition. The co-author of the exhibition is Veronika Kapisovska, Institute of South and Central Asia, Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Prague.
