Critical Resolved Shear Stress (CRSS) describing transition from elastic to plastic deformation (and consequently the beginning of dislocation motion) is one of the most important parameters determined mechanical properties of metals. Our paper deals with experimentally measured concentration dependence of CRSS and on the basis of mathematical model describing this dependence, the binding energy dislocation-solute atom has been determined.
