Cílem práce je přehled fyziologických změn ženského organismu v průběhu těhotenství a jejich dopad na kolekci a evakuaci moči. Konečným projevem těchto změn je fyziologická polakisurie. Dále jsou popsány rizikové faktory, které mohou vést v průběhu těhotenství a porodu ke vzniku močové inkontinence. Akcentován význam prevence a možnosti terapeutických postupů.

The aim of the paper is to provide an overview of the physiological changes in the female body during pregnancy and their impact on urine collection and evacuation. The end results of these changes is physiological pollakisuria. Also described are the risk factors zhat may, during pregnancy and labour, lead to the development of urinary incontinece. The importance of prevention and of possible therapeutic options is emphasised
