Tato práce se zabývá 3D modelováním budov a celých zastavěných komplexů. Teoretická rešeršní část shrnuje způsoby sběru 3D dat, metody jejich zpracování vedoucí k 3D modelům budov, formáty v nichž jsou uloženy i řadu praktických ukázek jejich využití. Těžiště práce však leží v praktické aplikační části, která se zabývá tvorbou 3D modelu Přírodovědecké fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně na Kotlářské ulici. V úvodu jsou charakterizována podkladová data a popsán vznik digitálního modelu terénu, který obklopuje budovy. Následuje sběr fotografií pro tvorbu textur, použití vlastních 3D bodových symbolů a samozřejmě vlastní modelování budov fakulty. V závěru jsou diskutována možná využití modelu a jeho možnosti prezentace širšímu spektru uživatelů bez speciálních GIS.
This thesis deals with 3D building modelling and whole built-up compound. The theoretical part summarizes possible ways of acquiring 3D data, methods of the 3D data processing leading to 3D building models, formats they are saved in and many examples of their real usage. The main focus of this thesis is in the practical application part that deals with the creation of 3D model of the Faculty of Science at the Masaryk University in Brno on Kotlářská Street. In the introduction, there are characterized the supporting data and description of the digital terrain model creation, which surrounds the buildings. After that follows taking pictures for texture mapping, using own 3D point symbols and of course modelling faculty buildings themselves. At the end, there are discussed possible applications of the model and the possibility of the model presentation to the wide range of users without special GIS.
