Rodina ve střední Evropě prošla během posledních dvaceti let významnými změnami. Tyto změny se dotkly i právních vztahu prarodičů a jejich vnuků. Posilování vzájemných práv a povinností je přitom v této oblasti zjevným trendem. Vyvstává proto otázka, zda můžeme očekávat ještě výraznější posilování tohoto trendu nebo naopak jeho oslabování.

The family in the Central Europe went through major changes during last twenty years. Those changes influenced the legal regulation of relation between grandparents and grandchildren. The shift toward the promotion of reciprocal rights and duties is obvious trend. Therefore it is the question of future development if the legal rights and duties between grandparents and grandchildren will be promoted even more or vice versa.
